We want to highlight two early October events—one in BC, and the other in Ontario:

• The BC event on Oct 4 features Preston Manning and Paul Williams (Professor, Regent College) engaging on the issue, “Thriving within Limits: Ecologically informed economics and the sustainability of cities,” at an A Rocha-hosted shoulder event in conjunction with the Gaining Ground Conference in Vancouver Oct 4-7 ( http://www.gaininggroundsummit.com).
• In Ottawa on Sept 28 – Oct 5, a conference on “Environmental Decline & Climate Change as Moral Issues” is hosted by a wide range of partners and provides a great platform to think through these major issues.
