Hands-Onย Learning
A Rocha runs environmental education programs for schoolย and church groups, dayย campers, families and adults.
Our education programs engage people directly in theย world around them. This engagement opens windows intoย wonder that transform mere knowledge into caring action. Therefore, A Rochaโs education programs are experiential.ย Whether itโs on a week-long day camp or a 3-hour fieldย trip, participants are outfitted with nets for pond dipping,ย magnifiers for examining bugs, and binoculars forย identifying birds.
Our adult education programs focus on the theologicalย basis for creation care. These programs are deliveredย through on-site workshops and events, as well as throughย lectures and sermons in universities and churches.
