Hands-OnΒ Learning
A Rocha runs environmental education programs for schoolΒ and church groups, dayΒ campers, families and adults.
Our education programs engage people directly in the world around them. This engagement opens windows into wonder that transform mere knowledge into caring action. Therefore, A Rochaβs education programs are experiential. Whether itβs on a week-long day camp or a 2-hour field trip, participants are outfitted with nets for pond dipping, magnifiers for examining bugs, and binoculars for identifying birds.
Our adult education programs focus on the theologicalΒ basis for creation care. These programs are deliveredΒ through on-site workshops and events, as well as throughΒ lectures and sermons in universities and churches.
