Project Description
A professional biologist (R.P.Bio.) with 11 years of experience in the environmental sector, Patrick has worked for consulting firms, several non-profits (including A Rocha Canada for several years), and the federal government. Now with Burnaby-based Kerr Wood Leidal Associates, he specializes in urban watershed planning and management.
Patrickโs MSc. was in ecology and he has a diverse background in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem planning and management. His particular interests include stream and wetland restoration, ecosystem mapping and monitoring, and conservation of species at risk, with a focus on rare invertebrates. Patrick sits on two provincial invertebrate species at risk recovery teams and is a past co-chair of the Science & Research Committee of the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver.
Patrick lives in North Vancouver with his wife, Kaitlin, and their three kids.
