On September 14th we celebrated the grand opening of the Meeting Place. This is the title of our new education facility which will be available also for rentals and special events. 70 people gathered on Saturday, including many familiar faces and several people who have not previously been a part of God’s work in the Pembina Valley.

Markku Kostamo, Henry Martens (Pembina Valley director), Bethany Paetkau (hostess), Luc Blanchette, Chris Hildebrand, Paul Goossen, and James Friesen were a part of the afternoon’s activities and program, including a site tour, games, and presentations. Fresh, local food included grass-fed roast beef and sausage, home-made organic breads, and garden treats which were prepared by Bethany Paetkau and Elma Martens. Thank you to all who participated!
