Storms and big weather have been a regular occurrence this summer. Therefore, the Pembina Valley Interpretive Centre is putting on a public talk to learn more about the forces involved in weather systems. So come out and learn about weather and storms in Southern Manitoba.

PVIC’s summer student, Amilia Fehr, will open the evening with a report on her research project ‘A Hiker’s Guide to Weather in the Pembina Valley.’ Following her, Near Zero Probability Storm Chasers will give a presentation on the why and how of storm chasing. NZP is a collection of individuals who chase storms and tornadoes all across the Great Plains. There will be time for questions after the presentation.

Books and storm prints from NZP will be available for purchase at the event. Coffee and snacks will be available after.
