Advent Tree Walk and Prayer Series (Winnipeg)

Advent is a season in the Christian church calendar “on the hinge between the old and the new, the known and the unknown to which God is drawing us… [it invites us] to be awake, alert, watchful, and ready for the ways in which God in Christ Jesus is always and ever breaking into our lives andβ€”ultimatelyβ€”into the life of the whole of creation” (Jamie Howison, saint benedict’s table).

This Advent you are invited on a journey of expectancy. Our Advent Tree Walk & Prayer series will include a short walk to a heritage tree in Winnipeg along with a short prayer liturgy reflecting on the themes of Advent.

Walks will be 20 minutes and include a 5 minute liturgy.
