According to the Pacific Salmon Foundations Salmon Explorer, the Upper Bulkley River that runs through Houston, BC, is one of the most negatively impacted watersheds in the larger Skeena system due to human activity.
A Rocha’s Buck Creek Hatchery and Nature Centre are working to flip that narrative. Over the next 20-50 years we would like to be able to say that itis the most positively impacted watersheds through human activity.
We are working towards that through Education, Conservation and Community.
