A Rocha had a significant presence at Missions Fest, a three-day conference, attended by thousands of youth and adults. During the Vancouver Missions Fest, which ran Jan. 30^th to Feb. 1^st, A Rocha staff and 26 volunteers formed the “Green Team” which circulated throughout the Vancouver Convention Centre nabbing recyclables and putting in the proper blue bins. In addition, the team challenged younger conference goers with the educational game, “How Big is Your Footprint?” Markku Kostamo, A Rocha’s Executive Director, spoke in 4 different workshops on “Creation Care: Part of God’s Mission for Your Life?” with over 300 in attendance. 

As in Vancouver, the A Rocha Manitoba team set up a booth at Winnipeg’s Missions Fest, held Feb. 4^th – 8^th. Staff and volunteers engaged hundreds of people who stopped by to learn how they could better care for God’s creation as a part of their Christian calling.
