Lovely Garden Work Party

It was Saturday June 2nd, 2012, at the 29-5 Community Garden at Berea Baptist Church (6062 132 Street, in Surrey, BC).

28 people were out there shoveling manure and soil into the boxes and 2 more were inside the church making lunch. People brought wheel barrows and a variety of types of shovels plus rakes. 7 children helped with the shoveling too. And the 20 plots are now all signed for! The Muellers from A Rocha also took time to help out too!
