Samuel Chiu joined the A Rocha team earlier this year. His role includes reaching out to and engaging visible minority communities in major Canadian urban centres.  In particular Samuel is encouraging and empowering Christians in these communities to consider care for God’s creation as an integral part of Christian missions to the world.  In reflecting on his role with A Rocha Samuel said, “I have been granted a platform to encourage and assist communities-in-Christ to understand more comprehensively God’s heart and love for all creation, and to learn about care for creation as an important aspect of Christian spiritual formation. All these can be translated into practical actions and lifestyle changes amongst members of our faith communities to be faithful earth-keepers, and a vital Christian witness to our larger community through actions and involvement in local conservation and creation care initiatives.”  To learn more about Samuel’s work contact him at samuel.chiu@arocha.ca.
