A Rocha’s Community Organizer in Northern B.C., Cindy Verbeek, recently connected with her counterpart working in the Greater Toronto Area – Paul Abell.  She joined Paul and A Rocha’s Toronto Community Action Group on an interpretive hike along the Taylor-Massey Creek.  The hike was a time of community building and learning about the local watershed.  Cindy reports that “the time of connecting with A Rocha community is one of the joys of working for A Rocha.  Because I live far from one of the two A Rocha Centres in Surrey, BC and Southern Manitoba, this connection is a lifeline of encouragement that equips me to carry on with my work in Northern BC.”
