Your donation will support Marjorie in her role as Conservation Science Coordinator at the Buck Creek Canfor Hatchery and Nature Centre in Houston, BC. She takes care of the coho salmon fry in the hatchery and also collaborates with local scientists to care for and restore salmon habitat, starting in the Upper Bulkley Watershed where the town of Houston is found.
While your gift will be supporting our Conservation Scientist, if the need for that role has been fully met, your gift will be put to good use supporting other aspects of our Northern BC project general budget.
