Project Description
Northern BC Coordinator
Cindy lives and works on the unceded territory of the Wet’suwet’en people in the beautiful Wet’zinkwa (Bulkley River) watershed. She has been with A Rocha since 1996 in some capacity or another (from board member, to newsletter editor, to volunteer, to staff) and is the Northern BC Project Coordinator managing the Buck Creek Canfor Hatchery and Nature Centre, A Rocha’s project in Houston, BC.
A graduate of The King’s University in Edmonton and the Au Sable Institute for Environmental Studies in Michigan, education around creation care as Christian mission has always been her passion. At any given moment she can be seen chasing after butterflies or turning over rocks in search of aquatic creatures all the while sharing her love of creation with anyone who will listen.
