Leah and I had a very encouraging visit with Eugene and Jan Peterson today – a glorious sunny autumn day.

They loved Brooksdale with the salmon spawning and a pair of eagles in a Douglas-fir tree. Serendipitously, a young British staff member happened to be playing the piano in the living room while we drank tea and ate fresh blueberry muffins in the dining room overlooking the Little Campbell River.

Eugene and Jan encouraged us with these words: “We appreciate the work you do in Jesus name, developing a community that honours the creation in reverence”.
