The A Rocha team in Hamilton, Onatrio is growing by leaps and bounds. You could even say the growth has been exponential!

Last summer just two staff put their hands to the A Rocha plow. This summer a team of seven will roll up their sleeves to work with newcomers to Canada and other folks on the economic margins in Hamiltonโ€™s urban centre.
61The team is hoping to grow not only through paid staff and interns but through volunteers as well. To this end, they would like to invite anyone interested in getting their hands dirty in a more rural setting to Cedar Haven Farm โ€“ A Rochaโ€™s local study site. The farm is owned by Lyndia and Bill Hendry, who have invited A Rocha to steward their beautiful property.

Regular volunteer days are scheduled for the second Saturday of the summer months. Activities will include invasive plant removal, gardening, birdbox repair, restoration projects, lunch and garden tours.
