After a career as a high tech CEO, John Diack now mentors tech founders (and their C-level leadership teams) who want to make significant changes in themselves, their companies and their lives.

“It’s very intimate work, which is a beautiful thing. I am amazed that I get to use everything I’ve learned – everything I’ve done well and done poorly – and use all of that to try to add to the success of rising tech companies who in many cases are committed to making a positive impact on humanity.”

In his personal life, John gives back by volunteering for his home church, the Port Coquitlam Community Foundation, ACETECH (a not-for-profit tech CEO community), and A Rocha.

John just returned from representing the A Rocha Canada board at a week-long forum in Portugal of A Rocha International and its member organizations. “Every day, before every meal, we heard Grace spoken in a different language.  A Rocha is so beautifully international and so deeply in love with Jesus.”

John says his life has definitely changed as a result of his involvement with A Rocha.

“I used to feel defensive (and a bit hopeless) about environmental issues. I can remember driving into the parking lot for my second ever board meeting, and I turned off the engine of my Bullitt Mustang, trying to coast in quietly.  The lot was filled with hybrid cars, and here I come with a gas-sucking high performance car… Yikes.”

“But I started to pay more attention to my impact, and eventually joined the hybrid club.  I’ve come to realize that our relationship with Christ can’t be truly fulfilled until we can relate to all of God’s creation, including the earth.”

“I love A Rocha because of the people I get to journey with.  We’re all in this together, as God’s children, learning to care for his earth.”
