Riverbanks are important – for people, for wildlife and for watershed health!

About this event

Riverbanks are important for everyone. At this workshop we will learn how healthy riverbanks are a benefit to both people & wildlife. We’ll hear how local landowners on the Upper Bulkley River, Maxan Creek and Richfield Creek are restoring riverbanks with an excavator, water jet stinger, spruce posts, willows and cottonwoods.

Restoration experts will present their work in other areas of BC. Local leadership of the Wet’suwet’en and the Province of BC will share how important this work is for protecting and managing water.

We invite you to join us to make connections, learn, share and help mark out our path forward in the Upper Bulkley Watershed.
