Restoration Saturday (Surrey, BC)

Join A Rocha’s Brooksdale conservation team for a morning of habitat restoration and enhancement.
Get your hands dirty planting native trees and shrubs, removing exotic invasive vegetation (such as Himalayan blackberry or English Ivy), building fences to keep livestock away from watercourses, creating new wetlands and much more.
The team will meet at the A Rocha Brooksdale Environmental Centre (1620 192 St – Surrey, BC) and will travel to the restoration site from there. All ages welcome to participate! Gloves and tools provided.
