The Pembina Valley Through History (Morden, MB)
November 16, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm EST
Our landscape in the Pembina Valley region has undergone significant changes in the last few hundred years. Knowing the history of a landscape can be significant in learning to appreciate the place in which we live. To this end, we will be bringing out David Scott of Swan Lake First Nation to teach on this history of the Pembina Valley, its surrounding landscapes, and the way people lived in these places.
Scott will describe and share stories about the Pembina Valley and its surrounding hills and prairies. He will also describe the way this area’s First Nations people lived and interacted with this land.
