Are you interested in learning how you can help protect forest in coastal Kenya?

The Dakatcha Woodland provides a haven and home to beautiful creatures, from the incredible Golden-rumped Sengi (Elephant-shrew) to the Sokoke Scops Owl, but they all face the ongoing threat of deforestation and development.

A Rocha Canada is hosting a special virtual event, “Saving a Threatened Forest in coastal Kenya: Dakatcha Woodland” to share more about this place, the threats it faces, and how we can get involved financially to help protect this irreplaceable woodland.

We will be hosting Colin Jackson, Director of A Rocha Kenya, to share about the amazing creation care work happening right now and highlight the urgency to protect and invest in this vital ecosystem.

Join us on Friday, June 19th at 9am PT / 12pm ET to hear Colin’s incredible stories of conservation, connection and hope within this coastal forest.
