There’s more to birds than meets the eye; bird “watching” is only a half baked pie!

Join us for food and conversation with Mark Huebert, who will share with us about his love of birds.

Mark Huebert flew to Malaysia to win the hand of his lovebird (and wife) Neena.  They have two nestlings, ages 6 and 8. Mark grew up in St. Vital and while earning his way through university spent about 5 months (over 5 different years) doing bird monitoring work in the boreal forests of southern Manitoba. During this time he also developed an appreciation for wildflowers, insects and other creatures that share the land with us. Mark currently is a teacher at The King’s School.
