Join us as we view and discuss a few of the short films made by local film maker Joel Penner. Joel uses computer scanners to create timelapses of plants, fungi and more growing and decaying, with the goal of creating films that celebrate the beauty of everyday existence.

Joel will join us to discuss his new movie which we will see an excerpt from, plus four other shorts: two flower films and two educational films. (One on pine cones, the other on mosses). Joel recently had some of his work featured in a National Geographic special!
