A Rocha Ottawa Outdoor Activities and Picnic

4:00 pm: Outdoor Activities at  Kingsmere Lake in Gatineau Park

5:30 pm: Potluck picnic supper

If there is enough interest Monique Heintzman will give a slide show of some of her nature photography after supper.

Directions to our house (264 Kingsmere) are as follows:

• In Ottawa take King Edward Ave. onto the MacDonald Cartier bridge.
• The MacDonald Cartier bridge takes you directly onto Highway 5.
• Continue on Highway 5 north and  get off at Exit 12 – Old Chelsea Rd.
• Turn left onto Old Chelsea Road and go through the village of Old Chelsea.
• After you go through the village, turn left onto Kingsmere Rd.
• Shortly after turning onto Kingsmere Rd., you will come to a 3 way stop.  Continue straight ahead.
• You will eventually pass Parking Lot 7. Then you will see Kingsmere lake on your left. Our house (264 Kingsmere Road) is on the right, about half way down the lake.
