Gardens are places of hospitality. From away spaces for contemplation and renewal that invite us into the presence of God, to gathering places for fun, food and fellowship where we reach out to others, the garden is a place where we both offer and receive hospitality.

A Rocha’s Community Garden Network is hosting a seminar on “Creating Hospitality in the Garden”. As a follow-up from last year’s Spirituality of Gardening Seminar, we have invited Christine Sine again, to share with us her experience in creating sacred garden spaces that share God’s welcome with others. She will be joined by her colleague, Andy Wade, who will share how he transformed his garden into an amazing space of hospitality to both God and neighbour.

Join us as we we explore the many ways we can create hospitable spaces that invite the presence of God and neighbors into our gardens. Reflect with us on the ways that sights, scents, textures and sounds can create welcome and invite us into a deeper relationship with God and others.
