Restoration Friday (Surrey, BC)

Join A Rocha’s Brooksdale conservation team for a morning of habitat restoration and enhancement.

Get your hands dirty planting native trees and shrubs, removing invasive vegetation (such as Himalayan blackberry or English ivy) and much more. Today we will be organizing our native plant nursery for some upcoming restoration projects and removing blackberry from a section of the Brooksdale property.

The team will meet at Brooksdale Environmental Centre (1620 192 St – Surrey, BC). All ages welcome to participate! Please bring your own pair of blackberry-resistant gloves, water, and weather-appropriate clothing; tools and other equipment will be provided.
