A Rocha Canada has made it to double digits!  To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we were thrilled to welcome Peter and Miranda Harris, A Rocha’s international founders, along with over 400 local guests to our new Brooksdale Environmental Centre for a full afternoon of good food, music, speeches, hayrides and kid’s crafts.  The afternoon culminated in the release of over 5,000 Coho Salmon fry into the Little Campbell River, allowing participants their own chance to get their hands dirty (or in this case, wet) by practically caring for creation.  Throughout the proceedings there was both a tangible sense of the goodness of God as well as a welling up of gratitude for the growth and impact of A Rocha across Canada through our conservation, education and sustainable agriculture endeavours.  We look forward to the next 10 years of caring for creation and caring for people!
