Mary-Ruth Low

Communications Manager

Mary-Ruth has always felt a deep love for God’s created world. Early in her career, she worked in Malaysia and Singapore, researching and championing oft-overlooked animals such as snakes, frogs, and bats. Over the years, she discovered a passion for storytelling—especially stories that invite people to feel hopeful in caring for our world. With a BSc in Life Sciences and MSc in Ecological Economics, she attempts to integrate both ecological insight and a systems approach in her communications role at A Rocha Canada. When not working, she enjoys cooking for people, reading and getting her hands muddy on the potter’s wheel.
