Thank you for your interest in A Rocha’s Volunteer Day! We’ve had so many people sign-up that we can’t accept any more registrations. Please visit the Brooksdale Volunteer page for other ways you can plug-in as a volunteer.

Volunteer Days happen once-a-month. Come care for creation at our Brooksdale Environmental Centre! Catch a taste of A Rocha as you lend a hand alongside the team in our garden, habitat restoration projects, heritage site and grounds and more. After work enjoy a community lunch and free site tour!

Wear weather-appropriate clothing for working outside, and bring gloves if you have them.

9:30 am – Meet at the patio
12:30 pm – Free Lunch for volunteers
1:30 pm – Site Tour
2:30 pm – Volunteer Orientation

Have you already caught a taste of A Rocha? Find yourself hungry for more ways to engage in creation care?

Join us March 11 at 2:30pm after Volunteer Day to learn about opportunities in agriculture, conservation, education and hospitality. There are even ways to lend your specialized skills in communications, heritage site maintenance and more. Attendees should be prepared to commit to a regular pattern of volunteering 4+ hours per month.
