Surviving Winter (Houston, BC)

| $20.00Learn how animals survive the cold and how you can apply those principles to help you stay warm, build a snow shelter and make fire starter for your survival kit. Activities will be both indoors at the Nature Centre and outdoors in the forest.
Date: Feb 17, 2023 (this is a NID for School District 54, Bulkley Valley)
Two Sessions
1: Ages 5-8, 9 am – 12 pm
2. Ages 9-12, 1 pm – 4 pm
Cost: $20/child
Location: Buck Creek Canfor Hatchery & Nature Centre
Maximum: 10 children per session
Instruction: Dress for the weather (we will be outside for a good portion of the morning). Bring your own snack and water bottle.
