Honey bees are an important and fascinating part of nature. To explore this topic, we’ve partnered with the Pembina Valley Backyard Beekeepers to invite Rhéal Lafrenière, Manitoba’s provincial apiarist, to teach about honey bee colonies.

Caring for a colony is an excellent way to familiarize yourself with honey bees. Also, it can be a rewarding practice in contributing to the health of local ecosystems. The commitment also pays off by providing you with delicious honey.

Join us at the Morden Library on February 9th for this event. It will be a good opportunity to learn about beekeeping and also to connect with local beekeepers.

When: February 9th, 2017

Time: 7:30pm – 9:30pm
