Join us on August 23rd to learn about one of Ontario’s Species at Risk butterflies: the monarch!

We will be taking some time to hear about their migration, life history and conservation concerns together at Cedar Haven Eco-Centre. This workshop will involve an interactive training where participants will catch and tag monarchs before they leave on their long journey to Mexico. This information will be shared with Monarch Watch and contribute to our understanding of these incredible butterflies.

This event will take place at the Cedar Haven Eco-Centre, which is located in the ecologically rich and diverse area of Ontario’s Greenbelt. However, please note that location is subject to change.

This event is open to participants over the age of 12. Please register below.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled.
