EarthKeepers Conservation is a week long program where kids ages 13-15 have the opportunity to develop skills in conservation.

We will contribute to the hands-on conservation projects at Cedar Haven including nest box monitoring, bumblebee identification, invasive species removal and so much more! There will be plenty of opportunity to develop your scientific observation and identification skills, as well as learn from experts in the field! We will also spend time exploring what motivates us towards conservation work and its importance.

This program runs from 9am – 3pm daily for one week.

Health & Safety

We are committed to the health & safety of our participants and their families. Here is how we are mitigating the risks related to COVID-19:

  • This is an outdoor program — each day will be spent in the open air or under a well-ventilated tent (but mostly outside!)
  • Group sizes will adhere to provincial recommendations.
  • Masking is mandatory when physical distancing is difficult to maintain.
  • Hand-washing and sanitizing will remain a priority.
