What can churches do to care for creation?

Join A Rocha Ontario and Mennonite Church Eastern Canada on Saturday, March 7th for our joint event “Churches Caring for Creation – Idea Exchange.”

You are invited to join us to explore how Christian communities and their leaders can get involved with creation care. More people are becoming interested in making creation care part of the way they serve God and neighbour, but sometimes it can be hard to know where to start or where to go next on this journey. So join us for a morning of inspiration, conversation, and encouragement! At this event, we’ll hear stories and insights from experienced panelists representing different congregations (panelists TBA). We’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in smaller group discussions to share creation care tips, ideas, and challenges.

This event will be hosted at 800 King St E, Kitchener, ON from 9:30am – 11:30am, and is open to adults and youth (ages 16+). Light refreshments will be served.

We look forward to hosting this event and welcoming participants from different denominations and backgrounds to participate in this discussion! Anyone interested is welcome to attend. Whether you’re in a leadership role or not, a member of a church or not, please come and join the conversation.
