Preview of This Month’s Church Earth Keepers Meetup:

Do you connect to God while on a walk in the forest? Do you sense the nearness of the Spirit when your hands are in the soil? Does the marvel of a hummingbird invite you to praise? Join us as we explore how connecting to God in and through creation draws us closer to the heart of God.

About our speaker this month:

Since 2004, Rick Faw has played a key role at A Rocha Canada and now serves as Education Director. With training in both science (BSc) and theology (MCS), he has a unique ability to help people connect their spiritual lives with the natural world. Passionate about teaching and his love of the outdoors, Rick makes his home at Kingfisher Farm in Surrey, BC, with his family.

More about the Monthly Church Earthkeepers Meetup:

Are you mobilizing your church to care for creation? Do you wish more people shared your interest? Then join like-minded folks for a Church Earth keepers Meet-Up. At these monthly sessions we’ll learn from each other by swapping stories as a way to encourage and equip us to catalyze earth keeping at church. Come prepared to share your ideas and to hear what works for others as we build a network of regular people working to care for creation within a local church setting.

Special Note:

We’re excited to share that Church Earthkeepers Meetups will now be held earlier – 9.30am to 10.45am PDT / 12.30pm to 1.45pm EDT. We hope this change creates more space to connect, learn, and be inspired together.
