Join us around the table at Ken & Carolee’s to enjoy good food and hear stories from Hannah & David Geunther who spent 4 months we spent serving with A Rocha Kenya in 2011 at Mwamba, their Guest House and Field Study Center. Along with Naomi, they will discuss the programs that A Rocha was running during this time, including the ASSETS Eco-Bursary Program, environmental education programming, demonstration agriculture plot, environmental monitoring (bird ringing and tree inventory), guest house, as well as new initiatives (marine biology program). Also they will share snapshots of the community life at Mwamba, which was very significant part of our experience.
