Do you know someone between the ages of 18 – 80 who would love to roll up their sleeves and gain practical experience caring for creation?
For an immersive and transformative experience, we invite you to participate in the Internship Program at A Rocha’s Brooksdale Environmental Centre in Surrey, BC. Each year approximately 30 university-aged students participate in community life, receive quality teaching on a variety of topics related to faith and environmental stewardship, as well as instruction and experience in their internship concentration area. Internships are available in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Education, Conservation Science, Site Maintenance or Hospitality.
Listen to what former interns have had to say:
My summer as a sustainable agriculture intern at A Rocha has been one of the most intensely rich experiences of my life. I know that I am not who I was at the beginning of my internship. I’ve come away with a sense of wholeness that has reconnected me to creation and has helped me recognize the sacredness of what I previously took for granted. I’ve been blessed with comfort, beauty and hope.
(Sandra Dumitras)
It’s impossible to do an a Rocha internship and not come away changed. It would be like walking into the ocean and walking out dry.

For those unable to commit to a full internship, additional opportunities abound to get involved with our work in Manitoba, Ontario and across BC. We invite you to visit our Volunteers page.
