CSA Share - Location & Options

FLOWER SHARE (starting in July):

Flower subscription: $200 ($20/week for 10 weeks)

VEGETABLE SHARE | Choose your size according to the adults in your household who will regularly eat from your share each week:

Choosing instalments secures your share for the full season. It is a contract with us and a commitment to make subsequent payments. We will invoice you through Paypal for the final two payments. If you cannot continue with payments, you will need to transfer your share to someone else.

Payments are due as follows:

1/3 here at sign up.

1/3 by July 14th.

1/3 by September 1st.

I understand this is a commitment for the full season and to submit payments.

Indicate if you are splitting this share with someone else (of similar share size) in order to do biweekly pickup (i.e. you alternate pick up weeks with each other). You'll have to split the bill yourself with one person paying here at sign up.

Payment

Now that the season is underway, we will prorate the cost for the number of weeks left.
Your total due is the weekly rate noted above (according to your household size) x the number of pick ups left in the season.

We will send you a Paypal invoice in a separate email within 1-2 business days.

Sign up by Wednesday at noon to start your pickups on Friday of the same week.

As a note:

When you pay your invoice, it is possible to pay with a credit card.

You do not need a Paypal account in order to pay by credit card.

When you pay, look fo a link that says "Pay with a credit card."

If it is not received by then, we will consider your share sign-up void.

and mailed to 1620 192 Street, Surrey, BC V3Z 9V2.

The “Handshake”

Signing up is an agreement between us as your farmers and you as a CSA member.

As your farmers, we pledge to:

Grow high quality vegetables and/or flowers using organic & regenerative growing practices.
Work hard to mitigate the risks inherent in farming posed by weather, pests, etc.
Write a weekly newsletter with good stuff.
Provide opportunities to connect with the farm and us farmers.

When you sign up and pay, you have secured your place in the CSA for the season and agree to:

Sign up for the correct size (if purchasing a vegetable share). We are using the honor system that you have selected the size appropriate for who will regularly eat from your share.
Share the risk. You will share in both the bounty and the risks of farming.
Be added to CSA communications. You will be added to our email list and you need to add csa@arocha.ca to your email contacts (so we don’t end up in your spam or promo tab).
Be responsible to pick up your share (or send a substitute) during pick up times. Otherwise, your share may be donated.
Coordinate the splitting of a share yourselves (if applicable).
Make payments (if choosing instalments). Instalment payments are still a commitment to pay for and complete the entire season. There are no refunds or cancellations once purchased (except for unforeseen circumstances & transfers can be arranged mid-season if needed).
Understand the start date is flexible. However, we’ll continue for the total promised weeks.
