Project Description

A chance to wonder…
At Wild Things, kids ages 6-12 encounter nature in new ways.
Roaming through forests, identifying plants, building forts and catching frogs. Moments like these provide a personal connection to the natural world, foster a sense of care and concern for our environment, and form healthy qualities among children like creativity, confidence and empathy.
Special Thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation
Through the Resilient Communities Fund, the Ontario Trillium Foundation is supporting A Rocha Ontario’s environmental education programs: Nature Academy and Wild Things. With their support, we are able to promote even more enriching nature experiences to our students!
