Project Description

Ken Summers in Kayak

An independent consultant since 1986, Ken’s recent work has centred largely on environmental impact assessments. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Sc. in Zoology in 1970, then worked as a wildlife biologist (R.P.Bio.), mostly in BC and the Yukon. After a variety of projects for the Canadian Wildlife Service, BC Ministry of Environment, Royal British Columbia Museum and UBC, he spent several years with Ducks Unlimited.

When a project involves marine birds, he is particularly happy as they are his favourite subject to work with. Ken lives in Abbotsford with his wife, Gail, and their extended family.
