In her role as Assistant Farm Manager, Jenn works with Paul, the Farm Manager, to lead the team that grows fresh food at Brooksdale Environmental Centre. The food grown at the farm feeds over 500 people per week through our Community Shared Agriculture Program. It provides for restaurants and food banks, and models sustainable food practices for thousands of visitors each year. She daily leads a small team of interns and volunteers in their tasks on the farm as well as manages harvest, sales and delivery to the farms’ restaurant partners.
While your gift will be supporting our Assistant Farm Manager, if the need for that role has been fully met, your gift will be put to good use supporting other aspects of our Brooksdale general budget.
