Eastern Bluebird Monitoring

Each year from April to October, Cedar Haven is home to the Eastern Bluebird. A once endangered species in North America, the Eastern Bluebird population has risen thanks to community conservation initiatives like nest box monitoring. Each season we monitor these boxes to count the number of eggs, young and fledglings that use these nests. This helps us understand the overall health of their populations in our area.
