Project Description

Equipping youth to care for creation!

The EarthKeepers Club is a program that focuses on serving, reflecting on, and learning about the natural world. It is a space for youth (ages 12-16) to connect with others their age that have similar interests in the environment and conservation. An example of a typical day might look like a work project to remove invasive species in the morning, followed by a discussion over lunch about what it means to be a good steward, and wrapping up by catching and identifying dragonflies in the afternoon. Through this program, we aim to make a tangible impact and have fun along the way!

The EarthKeepers Club currently has no cost to join and runs from April-November, on the second Saturday of each month. We are able to offer 3 volunteer hours for high school students that participate in a program day.

We are excited to welcome you to the EarthKeepers Club whether it is your first time or you have been many times before!

If this interests you or if you have any questions about our programming, please reach out to cedar.haven@arocha.ca.

Please note that the 2024 season of the program has now concluded. More information to come about future programming.
