Dannie Piezas

National Communications Officer

Dannie presents the transformational stories of A Rocha Canada through communications development and coordination. She brings a colourful conservation background in tow from working in nature interpretation, field research, and wildlife educational programming in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

Dannie first connected with A Rocha—fresh off the boat from the Philippines—as an intern in 2011, and hasn’t really left since. Her nearness to God calls her to seek nearness with all creation, and she continues to explore the role of conservation in building strong and vibrant communities.
