Tatalu Conservation Residency Assistant

Carmen first came to A Rocha in 2022 as an environmental education resident. Originally from Washington state, she finds solace in the familiar ecology of lower mainland, BC. After receiving her bachelor’s in biology, she was drawn to A Rocha as her interest in the intersection of environmental studies and Christianity grew. When she is not working as the Tatalu Conservation Residency Assistant, she is finishing her last class to receive a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies at Regent College, going for long walks in the forest, reading, and enjoying time with friends.
