DESCRIPTION:This spring break we will be hosting two days of pop up day camps! Birds on the Break will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 1-2)\, with a different type of learning and playing on each day.  \nYou can sign up for just one day or both! \nApril 1st – Stories and Art \nOur first day will be built around reading stories and doing art! We’ll focus in on migration and bird-watching. We will adventure into the Assiniboine Forest and see how many species of birds we can find\, and explore maps and stories of bird journeys in Canada and around the world. Of course we’ll also eat yummy snacks\, make cool art\, and have a ton of fun!  \nApril 2nd – Building and Construction \nOur second day will be built around designing and constructing things! We’ll examine and research bird nests and bird feeders\, design plans\, and construct our creations! Don’t worry\, this day will also include yummy snacks\, cool stories\, and a ton of fun!  \nWhere? DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first EarthKeepers Club meeting of the 2025 season! \nThe EarthKeepers Club is a space for youth (ages 12-16) to connect with others their age that have similar interests in the environment and conservation. An example of a typical day might look like a work project to remove invasive species in the morning\, followed by a discussion over lunch about what it means to be a good steward\, and wrapping up by catching and identifying dragonflies in the afternoon. Through this program\, we aim to make a tangible impact and have fun along the way! \nThe EarthKeepers Club currently has no cost to join and runs from April-November\, usually on the second Saturday of each month. We will be meeting at the Bruce Trail Parking Lot on Twiss Rd (7342 Twiss Rd\, Campbellville\, ON) at 10am ET. Our hike will last around 2 hours\, and we ask that you carpool with others as there is limited parking available. \nFor children under the age of 12\, please purchase a children’s ticket. Please note that all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Do you wish more people shared your interest? Then join like-minded folks for a Church Earth keepers Meet-Up. At these monthly sessions we’ll learn from each other by swapping stories as a way to encourage and equip us to catalyze earth keeping at church.
