If you’re interested in being on a waitlist\, click the “Join Waitlist” button below.\nJoin us for a week of exploration on August 4 – 7!\nHave you ever wondered how spiders spin webs\, beavers build lodges or birds make nests? Join us for a fun week exploring animals’ homes and habitats! Have fun singing songs\, making crafts\, playing games\, and learning about the environment at our summer day-camps! \n\nKids ages 6 – 12 welcome. (Must be finished kindergarten.)\nCamp runs from 9am to 3pm daily.\nCome dressed for activities outside (rain or shine). Bring a hat and sunscreen!\nBring your own snacks (morning and afternoon)\, lunch & water bottle.\n\nPlease note that A Rocha is a Christian environmental organization and our camp will include short reflections on creation care. \n— \nIn light of COVID-19\, we are implementing changes in all areas of our work. As Day Camp activities take place outdoors\, we are still moving forward with this event but are taking extra precautions and maintaining physical distancing. Please stay at home if you have had symptoms or traveled\, or have been in contact with someone with symptoms or who has traveled in the last 14 days. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a week of exploration August 10-14!\nWe are partnering with Metanoia Farmers at Canadian Mennonite University to offer a week of Farm and Forest experience for kids! \nOur local farmers work hard to grow and harvest the food we find on our tables. Join A Rocha for a week on Metanoia Farms to discover what it means to be a farmer\, how to take care of the land that God has created\, and how you too can be a cultivator! This week will be filled with games\, crafts and exploring the farm and forest. \nCamp runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm daily. \n\nKids ages 6-13 welcome\nCome dressed to be outside for the day.\nBring your own lunch\, water bottle\, sunscreen and hat.\nYummy pre-packaged snacks provided!\n\n$125 per camper\, $100 per additional camper in a family. \nHealth and Safety is very important to us. Here are our health and safety protocols for day camp.\nPlease note that A Rocha is a Christian environmental organization and our camp will include short reflections on creation care. \n\nPlease pay for the camp through Eventbrite and fill out the day camp registration form to confirm your child’s place in the camp. \nFinancial assistance available.
