DESCRIPTION:Please note that the Almost Silent Retreat has been cancelled\, due to measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19.  \nEnjoy the season of Resurrection with intention and space with God as you engage in solitude at A Rocha’s Brooksdale Environmental Centre. During this 3-day\, 2-night retreat we will be using the prayer tool of Lectio Divina as a way to connect with God. \nNever been on a silent retreat? That’s okay. You can use the time however you like\, whether that’s in times of prayer\, reading\, walking\, journaling\, sketching — the sky is limit (as long as it’s a quiet activity – no tubas please :)). And if you’re looking for ideas on how to use your time or would like to reflect on what you’re experiencing\, Leah Kostamo\, a trained spiritual director\, will be on hand to meet with you. \n7 pm\, April 16th  – 5 pm\, April 18th \nYour stay will include: a private room or shared room*\, all meals\, morning and evening prayers\, optional spiritual direction\, access to A Rocha’s nature trails\, gardens and heritage guesthouse. \nPlease note: \n\nAll rooms have shared washrooms.\n If you would like a double room you must register with a friend.
