SUMMARY:Famine or Feast (Surrey\, BC)
DESCRIPTION:Connecting Faith\, Food and People in Vancouver & Beyond\nIn light of a Christian vision for a just & celebrative approach to food\, our hope for this day is to help individuals & churches engage in food issues both locally & globally.  Together\, we will learn to take concrete actions towards personal\, corporate & systemic change. \n[button link=”https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/famine-or-feast-connecting-faith-food-people-in-vancouver-beyond-tickets-22598198821″ color=”default” size=”” stretch=”” type=”” shape=”” target=”_blank” title=”” gradient_colors=”|” gradient_hover_colors=”|” accent_color=”” accent_hover_color=”” bevel_color=”” border_width=”1px” icon=”” icon_divider=”yes” icon_position=”left” modal=”” animation_type=”0″ animation_direction=”down” animation_speed=”0.1″ animation_offset=”” alignment=”left” class=”” id=””]Buy Tickets[/button]\nLunch\, provided by Just Catering\, is included in registration fee.  Please contact Karen (karen@plantednetwork.ca) with any dietary restrictions. \nRethinking Food Systems\n[youtube id=”8jfsDjcgB_w” width=”600″ height=”350″ autoplay=”no” api_params=”&rel=0″ class=””]\nWe’re eager to share our ideas and to learn how Canadian Foodgrains Bank\, Earthkeepers\, Planted and others are approaching local & global food issues. Please join us at Famine or Feast to be part of the conversation. \nGood Soil Campaign\nThis event is part of the Good Soil campaign\, a partnership with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank and its members\, to advocate that the Canadian government increase its support for small-scale agriculture in Canada’s international aid programs. As we look at global food issues\, we also need to respond to what is happening locally. Join us to figure out what that means.
