DESCRIPTION:“Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not\, they spin not; and yet I say unto you\, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” – Matthew 6:28 \n \nWith the constant bad news we are bombarded with it is easy to feel overwhelmed\, anxious\, or grieving at the state of the earth. While it is important to explore these feelings\, there is equal value in finding joy in God’s earth and celebrating with nature. \nThis Silence in Seasons retreat aims to help you reflect on how you can find joy in creation\, even in the midst of eco-crisis. \nYou will be led through a weekend of guided reflection\, contemplative prayer\, meditative forest walks\, and eating good food together. This retreat aims to send you home renewed in your relationship with nature. \nWhat to expect:\n● Facilitated sessions focused on taking joy in creation\n● Opportunities for silence and reflection on the gift of the Earth\n● Hands on experience rejoicing with creation in the boreal forest\n● Space to explore balancing of eco-grief and eco-joy\n● Simple and nutritious snacks & meals \nSchedule Information:\nArrive Friday between 6:30 – 7:30 pm – Opening circle 8pm\nDepart Saturday 7:30 pm \nCost: $75/person per retreat  \nPlease note that all rooms are shared.
