DESCRIPTION:Join us for a peaceful Winter Solstice Walk on Sunday\, December 21st from 6pm – 8pm at the A Rocha Ontario Centre (1440 Westover Road\, Millgrove\, ON).\nFor many Indigenous peoples\, the winter solstice marks a sacred moment to honour the natural rhythms of creation when plants and animals rest and people\, too\, rest and renew their spirits. At this event\, we’ll enjoy a family-friendly walk in the early night followed by tea and shared stories around the campfire. Bring your own lantern to light the path. Feel free to create a homemade one. Come ready to slow down\, listen\, and celebrate the beauty of winter darkness together. \nAdults and families are welcome to participate.
